The Restricted Forbidden Kingdom trek covers Most of the Manang -Mustang districtand the
lost village of Narr & Phu. Hidden by swirls of mountain mist, themagnificent panorama
view of Annapurna massif appears remote and forbidding.Our first destination is Naar
Village located in the extreme northern reachesof the Manang district. The remote villages
of Naar and Phu have about 500 combined permanent inhabitantswhose livelihood depends on
raising livestock(yak), growing potatoes and barley and trading with villages located in
the regions of Lower Manang. Our government recent decision to open up NarPhu totrekkers
has evoked little impact to the pastoral lifestyle of this area.Apart from the occasional
researcher and climbing expedition permitted to climbHimlung, Ratnachuli and Gachikang, few
foreigners have entered this area andtourism infrastructure is almost non-existent. From
Besisahar, we will graduallyascend the Marsyangdi River Valley to Koto. Here, we head
northwards and enter the recently opened NarPhu Valleys of Upper Manang. Passing through the
chortengate that designates the entrance to NarPhu, it's as if we've been transported into
a land where time has stood still. The Himalayan Pine quickly gives way tohigh plateau,
remote Tibetan villages built of stone, ancient Buddhist monasteries and grand views of
the Annapurna Range. This magical area is known to have one ofthe highest concentrations
of snow leopards per square kilometer of anywhere in the world. After several days of
exploration, we regrettably exit this mystical valleyon a route that follows the Labse
Khola and leads beyond the Chulu peaks into thevirtually unknown DamodarHimal. The high
point of our route is the generallysnow-bound Teri La (18,235 feet), a pass 'discovered'
by Bill Tilman in 1950.The heart and soul of our long and varied route is a spectacular
week of trekking through a wild and uninhabited area between the Teri La and the upper
Kali Gandaki Valley, with camps at elevations of between 13,000 and 16,500 feet. We enter
theKali Gandaki Valley at the beautiful village of Tangge and spend another delightful week
exploring the 'Forbidden Kingdom' of Mustang, including avisit to the walled settlement of
Lo Manthang.

Day 04           Trek from Bulbul to Syange approximately 6 hours trek. Camping

Day 05           Trek from Syange to the Tall Village approximately 6 hours trek.

Day 06           Trek from Tall Village to Koto – the Gateway to NarPhu
                        approximately 8 hours trek. Camping

Day 07           Trek from Koto to Dharamsala approximately 5-6 hours trek.
                        Camping

Day 08           Trek from Dharamsala to the winter settlement of Meta approximately
                        4-5 hours trek. Camping

Day 09           Trek from Meta to Kyan approximately 4-5 hours trek. Camping
Day 10           Trek from Kyang to the isolated village of Naar approximately 6
                        hours trek.  Camping

Day 11           Acclimatization and exploration day in Naar Village. Camping

Day 11           Trek from Naat Village to Lapse Khola Valley approximately 7-8
                        hours trek.  Camping

Day 12           Trek from Lapse Khola Valley to the Teri La base camp approximately
                        5-6 hours trek. Camping

Day 13           Trek from Teri La base camp To Teri La high camp approximately 4-5
                        hours trek. Camping

Day 14           Cross the Teri La and descend to Pasphu Khola approximately 10
                        hours trek. Camping

Day 15           Trek from Pasphu Khola to Yakpa approximately 6 - 7 hours trek.

Day 16           Trek from Yakpa to Tangga Village approximately 6 hours trek.
Day 17           Rest day in Tangga Village. Camping

Day 18           Trek from Tangga Village to Yara Gaon approximately 6 hours of
                        trekking. Camping

Day 19           Trek from Yara Gaou to the Forbidden Kingdom of Lo-Manthang
                       approximately 7-8 hours of trek.  Camping

Day 20           Exploration day in Lo-Manthang. Camping

Day 21           Trek from Lo- Manthang to Ghami approximately 5-6 hours of
                        trek. Camping

Day 22           Trek from Ghami to Samar via crossing Nyi La (13,190 ft)
                       approximately 5-6 hours of trek. Camping

Day 23           Trek from Samar to Kagbani via crossing Chele La (11,910 ft)
                        approximately 5-6 hours of trek. Camping

Day 24           Trek from Chele La to Kagbani approximately 5- 6 hours of trek.

Day 25           Trek from Kagbani to Jomsom approximately 2 hours of trek.
                        Overnight at tea houses

Day 26           Jomsom – Pokhara
                        Morning is free after breakfast fly Jomsom to Pokhara overnight

Day 27           Pokhara – Kathmandu
                        Morning is free after breakfast fly Pokhara to Kathmandu,
                       overnight a hotel in Kathmandu

Day 28           Rest day in Kathmandu
                        Rest day in Kathmandu, Evening: Nepalese dinner with cultural show,
