Rafting in Sun koshi rive rafting offer great opportunity to explore great mountain
views, exotic beaches, wild lifes and remoteness. The classic white water challenge
rafting normally starts from Dolalghat (620m) and flows down to Chatra (115m) covering
272 km. The volume increases considerably with the flow from these tributaries.
In November, the flow at Dolalghat is about 100 cumecs; lower down the river,
through the big rapids of the 'Jungle Corridor', it would be about 400 cumecs
which is aprox. 11,000 cfs. At the take-out, at Chatra, the flow is a mighty 800
cumecs and you know that this is one of the major rivers of the world.

Day 01              Kathmandu Arrival
                          Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, meet assist and
                          transfer to the hotel.

Day 02              Kathmandu – Dolalghat – Camp I
                          Morning is free after breakfast drive to Rafting Put in point
                          Dolalghat, Approximately 3 hrs drive from  Kathmandu. After short
                          preparation proceed for rafting overnight at camp Ist Tarang Gaon.

Day 03              Tarang Gaon (Camp I ) - Dumja Village (Camp II ) 4 Hrs.
                          Morning is free after breakfast proceed for rafting. Slowly
                          leaving behind the Langtang ranges we hit the very technical rapid
                          called Khuei Bhai rapid, strewn with rooks and boulders, hence,
                          considerable care is need. Camp for the night near the Mahadev temple,
                          reputed to be the first Shiva temple in Nepal.

Day 04              Dumja village (Camp II ) -  Khunkot (Camp III ) 6 Hrs. WET AND WILD
                          Morning is free after breakfast enter to the river for rafting  enroute
                          the fishing village of Kodaris' and the Chamera Bhir appears from were
                          can see hundreds of bats screaming and clinging to the walls of the cliffs,
                          some good fun filled rapids takes up to Khunkot where we camp for the night.

Day 05              Khunkot (Camp III ) - Likhu Khola (Camp IV ) 5 Hrs.
                          Morning is free after breakfast proceed for rafting till afternoon.
                          Overnight at camp 4th

Day 06              Likhu Khola (Camp IV ) - Harkapur village (Camp V ) 6 Hrs.
                          Morning is free after breakfast star rafting from Likhu Khola to
                          Harkapur village By  pass through deep gorges punctuated with exciting
                          rapids we can see the troops of wild monkeys. Overnight at camp V

Day 07              Harkapur village (Camp V) - Rai Ghat (Camp VI) 6 Hrs
                          one of the most exciting and challenging days of the expedition
                          encountering some very demanding rapids where you witness the skills of
                          our guides, The river  passes  through 'Bridge rapids' and 'Krishna rapids'
                          stopping to carefully plan our strategy through the next rapids. Floating
                          past the confluence of the Dudh Koshi, we hit the last rapid for the day,
                         'Roller Coaster' a hair rising rapid. Overnight at camp VI

Day 08              Rai Ghat (Camp VI) - Bander Ghat (Camp VII) 6 Hrs
                          By facing extreme rapids with the greatest drop Huge 'holes', 'eddies'
                          and churning 'stopper waves' demands team work and hard paddle till evening.
                          Overnight at camp VII

Day 09              Bander Ghat (Camp VII) - Bonjur Ghat (Camp VIII) 6 Hrs
                          Morning is free after breakfast proceed for rafting after lunch break,
                          emerging from the Mardheku gorge the river spreads wide, less agitated
                          after its confinement between steep cliffs and gorges. Overnight at camp VIII

Day 10              Bonjur Ghat (Camp VIII) – Barahchhatra (Camp IX) 6 Hrs
                          Full day rafting activities From Bonjur Ghat to Barahchhatra.
                          Overnight at camp IX

Day 11              Barahchhatra (Camp IX) - Chatara ( Camp X) – Kathmandu
                          Morning is free after breakfast proceed for rafting to put out points
                          Chatara, after lunch takes night bus to Kathmandu or drive to Biratnagar
                          to take a flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 12              Kathmandu
                          Leisure day in Kathmandu Evening; Nepalese dinner with cultural show,
                          overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 13              Kathmandu Departure
                          Final departure to Kathmandu International Airport (TIA)
