Ghandruk Village lies between Lumle and Dangsing Village Development Committee. It is located in Northern far of Kaski district. This is a short trek but probably most popular route. There are no other routes which have this much natural diversity & cultural variety. This trek starts from Nayapul an hour car/bus drive from Pokhara. In the beginning of trek village life, culture, water falls & green hills’ view can be enjoyed. In clear conditions, there are fine views of Annapurna peaks and the famous fishtail peak Machhapuchhare along the way. We commence our short Annapurna trek and for the first hour we follow track road along the banks of the Modi Khola River to the villages of  Birethanti and Shyauli Bazar.

From Syauli Bazar, we then ascend above the valley floor on a stone staircase. To the north, there are again super views of the Annapurna Mountains. A short  but steep section leads to Kimche (1630m) where we can take lunch before following a wide and well-defined path of stone flags that lines through fields of rice, wheat and millet to the largest village in the region, The next stage of the trek is one of the longest, heading north up the Modi valley to Ghandruk, with spectacular views of the Annapurna range. This is the highest and northern most point of the journey.

Day 01       Kathmandu Arrival (1350 m)
                    Arrival at Kathmandu international airport & transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 02       Kathmandu
                    Morning is free after breakfast proceed for Sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath after lunch Sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Patan overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03       Kathmandu - Pokhara
                    Morning is free after breakfast drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (approximately 5 Hrs) and transfer to the hotel in Pokhara. Evening: Visit aroud Lake side, Overnight at hotel in Pokhara

Day 04       Pokhara (820 m) – Kande (1700 m) to Tolka (1700 m)
                    Morning is free after brerakfast drive form Pokhara to Kande (1770 m), 31 km and one hour drive on Baglung highway. We take the right hand track gradual ascent through thin forest and reach to Australian Camp (2220 m). It takes one hr 15 minute time to reach Australian Camp, which offers the spectacular view of snow-clad mountains of Annapuran ranges (Annapurna South, 7219 m, Annapurna I, 8091 m, Annapurna III, 7555 m, Annapurna IV, 7525 m, Annapurna II, 7939), Hiunchuli (6441 m), Fish Tail (6993) Lamjung Himal (6932 m), Manaslu (8163) etc. Trek descend up to Pothana (1900 m), 30 minute time. ACAP check post is here. Next one and half hour time will stop at Deurali (2100 m) where lunch will be here. The way is gentle ascending.  After the lunch, gradually descending to Tolka (1700 m) Overnight at Tea houses

Day 05       Tolka to Ghandruk (1940 m)
                    After  breakfast trek to Landruk (1565 m ) on a flat and gradual descent (some where gentle ascent also). 1 and half hour time to Landruk. We will walk down hill to Modi Khola, 30 minute time and after crossing the Modi Khola (river) to take a steep uphill walk to Ghandruk, a large Gurung village.  2.5 Hrs walking time from Modi Khola to Ghandruk. Ghandruk offers the view of Annapurna South, Himchuli & Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail). Overnight at Tea houses

Day 06       Ghandruk to Nayapul (1070 m) - Pokhara
                    After breakfast down hill to Syauli Bazar (1170 m) for 2 Hrs and get on a Flat land walk through rice fields until Birethanti (1025 m). We further walk on very busy trail approximately one hour to Nayapul and then one hour drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara

Day 07       Pokhara - Kathmandu
                    Morning is free after breakfast fly Pokhara to Kathmandu (approximately 35 m) and transfer to the hotel. Evening: Nepalese dinner with Cultural show. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 08       Kathmandu departure
                    Leisure day in Kathmandu, Final Departure to Kathmandu International Airport (TIA)
